The first weekend in October brings to Jonesborough the International Storytelling Festival and the hanging of the Old Town Quilters Challenge in the Visitors Center.  Jonesborough gets ready to greet thousands of visitors who come to hear over 22 diverse storytellers in large tents scattered throughout town.  Old Town Quilters hangs its annual challenge the same weekend.  Here are a few of the over 20 entries in this year’s challenge.  Above is Judy Niemeyer’s pattern “Dancing Batiks” done in Kaffe Fassett fabrics. Below are more entries.
